So the useless box is finished!
And it works great:-) Designed in Fusion 360 and printed on my Ultimaker.
This is the result:
A blog about 3D items and projects i did myself. It can be 3D CAD, some rendering or animation as well as 3D printing.

Project preview: Useless box
I'm currently working on a small project, more like a gimmick actually;-)
Most people who surfed the web for home made tech gadgets probably came across this one. So the idea isn't mine, the technical design is.
My interpretation of the useless box:-)
Currently i'm printing and creating parts so hopefully soon there will be a working prototype!

Some 3D test prints...
Today i printed some small testparts to see how they would turn out in relation to sharp edges and smooth surfaces. The parts also had countersunk holes for hex nuts and cilinder head bolts. Pretty impressed how it turned out, very sharp and a tight fit.
The material used was the Ultimaker brand silver PLA, nozzle 0.25 with a 0.1 layer height.

3D Printer!
A few days ago my 3D printer arrived, an Ultimaker 2+
Beautiful machine, well designed and well build. The packaging was also well takin' care of.
So first unboxing, unpacking and finding out how it's all ment to work, and then hopefully the first testprints will come out soon:-)

Business cards box
I had the idea for a while to design a card holder, one with space for more cards then my wallet and of course would be my own design. 3D printing would ofcourse be perfect for this job!
It consists of five printed parts, spring locks, and has one card locked in the backside. I made a personal QR card for this:-)

Two RX Battery tray promo
For my Logo 700 xxtreme i designed a quick release battery tray to hold two 2S LiPo batteries.
These two will be connected by a Emcotec DPSI switch to achieve rx power redundancy.
